Product Leadership Council members meet monthly via virtual video conferencing to discuss a critical product management or marketing topic. Interactive discussions will be facilitated by leading industry veterans to help ensure meaningful, fruitful outcomes. Each monthly meeting will last approximately 90 minutes.

Title: Managing Product Teams with Remote Team Members
As virtually everyone has experienced, the pandemic greatly accelerated the trend to distributed product teams working remotely. We no longer have the many advantages of managing a co-located product team. While there have been great strides made by companies in adapting to this new reality, the specific challenges of managing product teams with remote team members are often not well addresses (or not properly prioritized by the company), or simply not achieving the desired results. While there is a plethora of information available on the tactical and administrative recommendations for remote working (e.g., video conferencing technology, etc.), there is far less information and proven advice that is specific to the challenges of product management and product marketing teams.
Thus, our October 16th Product Leadership Council (PLC) meeting will focus very specifically on the needs of product managers and product marketers who are working remote. Likely topics include:
